Selby Abbey

#leedstrip Selby is one of the hidden gems in North Yorkshire, England. I happen to live and work here for almost 1 year. What I like about this place is the beautiful, clean and green rural atmosphere. Many old buildings are still preserved. One of them is the old 15th century church, Selby Abbey. In addition to storing historical value, this place is also very instagramable. There are several restaurants, lodging and also places for shopping. For friends who want to travel to the UK, there is no harm in stopping by this town. You can just take a walk to enjoy the existing corner of the city / countryside. Especially if you also visit the city of York which is only 30 minutes from Selby come and look around. There are information notices all around and several areas where you can light a candle for a small donation. There is also a small shop and cafe area (very reasonably priced) and toilets. There was a photographic exhibition, and we were invited to vote for our three favourites with a chance to win our first favourite.
