Like a "mountain soul" exiled to the city, I finally found my way back to the forest— Here, time steeps in teacups: Mornings begin with eaves dripping rain, afternoons drift by in wooden-house daydreams, learning tea-roasting from villagers, or curling with a book in the shade of stilted buildings. Days move slowly, yet brim with mountain winds, forest whispers, and misty clouds. Now, tea fragrance lingers in my palms, morning dew clings to my sleeves. I've fallen for Qiandongnan's rugged peaks, Kaili's vibrant street life, and most of all—this quiet village in Leigong Mountain Nature Reserve: Queniao Village, Fangxiang Township, Leishan County. A "strange hometown" that felt familiar at first sight.
