The Wooden House Village.

The Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a special ancient village in Guizhou Province of China. It is home to the Miao people, a minority group in China. Getting there: Get to Kaili city (in Guizhou province) by train. Then get a taxi to the village. A private car is also an option and you just need to search online for a company - there are many English speaking ones that can take you. The village itself is filled with stunning traditional wooden architecture and stunning scenic views of the ancient village. (see my photos for some examples). It is truly a unique part of China. I recommend staying for several nights to really enjoy and take in the culture. Tip: Go for sunset shots to enjoy a panoramic view of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. There are viewing decks on the opposite hill of Xijiang Miao Village and electric car can take you there.
