It is free and anyone with a mainland China ID card can enter. It tells the story of the railway troops from their establishment to their disappearance from history after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It also shows pictures of the railway troops who braved difficulties and obstacles and participated in the construction of national railway trunk lines such as the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and the Chengdu-Kunming Railway. The design is very immersive and makes one feel respect for the soldiers, especially this section of the Chengdu-Kunming Railway. More than 2,100 soldiers gave their lives to build this difficult route with many tunnels!
