Is the super beautiful Kulagangri finally open to the public?

The most beautiful snow-capped mountain and lake scenery hiking route in Shannan and even Tibet will finally open on May 1st! Tell everyone, friends. It is located in Lhoza County, Shannan, only a 5-hour drive from Lhasa. Along the way from Lhasa, you can visit attractions such as Yamdrok Lake, Pumongcuo Lake, and Mondala Pass. The hiking altitude is about 4500 to 4800. It only takes 1 hour of hiking to see the scenery in the picture. There are three valleys in Kulagangri that can be visited in Lhozha County. Each valley has three alpine lakes: Jiejiu Co, Baimalin Co, and Zhegong Co. For ordinary tourists, Baimalin Co, which is the easiest to reach, is already the ceiling-level snow mountain scenery. The entire Kulagangri snow system is lined up in front of you, with Karezhan Peak, Guolakari Peak, and Kulagangri Peak. The sense of oppression and shock that comes from being in it is unmatched by other snow mountains. Some tips 1. Stay in Lhoza County the day before. Start from the county seat, use Amap to find "Baimalincuo Family Hotel". The one-way drive takes 1.5 hours. Remember to bring your ID card and border pass (including Lhoza County) when you go out. There are two border checkpoints. Drivers also need a vehicle registration and driver's license. 2. After passing the second border checkpoint, you will start to cross the mountain along a steep single-lane dirt road along the cliff. If you don’t have strong driving skills, it is not recommended to drive by yourself as the mountain road is very narrow and dangerous. 3. After passing Coyu Village, the villagers will collect a cleaning fee of 20 yuan per person. Continue along the dirt road to the parking lot at the end (there is a public toilet). Start hiking here and it only takes 5-10 minutes to reach the Baimalin Co Lake. 4. For ordinary tourists, it is recommended to directly choose the mountain road on the right side of Baimalincuo for hiking (a dirt road with handrails). The end of this road is the place where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have practiced at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. It takes 3 hours one way, but there is no need to walk so much. It is recommended to walk to the highest point about halfway, and the round trip only takes 2-3 hours. 5. Start early in the morning. The weather is usually good before 14:00. Prepare food and water in advance. There are no shops in the mountains. 6. Hidden levels: Do it according to your ability. The higher you go, the more beautiful it becomes. There are so many photo-taking positions along the way that it’s outrageous! The highest point of the dirt road actually leads to the ridge, where the scenery is even more beautiful. At the end of the hike, when you return to the second border checkpoint, turn right and walk 300 meters along the road. There is a wild hot spring. I strongly recommend you soak your feet there. It is quite refreshing and very relaxing! After running, you can climb again! For beginners of outdoor hiking, Kulagangri has top-notch snow-capped mountain and lake scenery and a super-friendly hiking distance.
