A Shanghai worker flew 2,400 km to an ancient city to relax and get away from work

After a busy year, I finally started a week-long vacation before the New Year. I flew from the crowded metropolis of Shanghai to the chill city of Lijiang. 💙 I took off my work shoes and suit and left my work stress behind. I looked at the snow-capped mountains from the streets of the ancient city and lay in bed all day in a warm and comfortable hotel. I went to bed early and waited for the precious sunrise over the mountains. ❤️ My friend chose PURE Hotel in Lijiang Ancient City. The tatami-style bed and tea table gave me a unique sense of comfort. The wabi-sabi style sofa and fireplace in the public area and the white wall and pool in the courtyard made me feel relaxed and free in the afternoon. 💙 The hotel provided welcome fruit, goodnight desserts, and exquisite Yunnan-style breakfast. I was constantly surprised during my stay. The second phase of the hotel will open in December and will include a cafe. I plan to come back next spring or summer.
