In the evening, we strolled to the nearby Big Waterwheel, a landmark of the ancient town, holding hands with my husband to take a sweet photo, officially starting our honeymoon~ Day 2: Deep Exploration of Lijiang Ancient Town After breakfast, we leisurely walked into Lijiang Ancient Town. First, we visited the Mu Residence to experience the history and culture of the Naxi people. The red walls, green trees, pavilions, and towers made us feel like we had traveled back in time👫. From the Mu Residence viewing platform, we overlooked the entire ancient town—breathtakingly beautiful. For lunch, we enjoyed the specialty cured pork rib hotpot, with tender meat and rich broth. In the afternoon, we wandered through the alleys of the ancient town, browsed unique shops, picked some couple souvenirs🎁, and then found a quiet café to sit by the window, watching people come and go, enjoying our time together. It’s quieter and more artistic than Lijiang Ancient Town. My husband and I strolled on the bluestone roads, admired the ancient buildings, and visited Shuhe Square and Qinglong Bridge. In the morning, we joined the tour group to the mountain. Riding the cable car to the top, we admired the magnificent snowy mountain scenery. Although a bit short of breath, my husband and I encouraged and supported each other, feeling especially warm🥰.
