Overlooking Lisbon's Time at Portas do Sol

On the first day of my Lisbon trip, the very first place I visited was the Portas do Sol viewpoint. After passing through the Alfama district and climbing the stone steps, a picturesque scene unfolded before me—red rooftops, the blue Tagus River, and white-walled buildings. With a cup of coffee from the café next to the viewpoint, I gazed at the slowly flowing scenery, enjoying a moment of indescribable tranquility. Although there were many tourists around, they blended harmoniously into the landscape. During the day, the sunlit rooftops were stunning, and in the evening, the city was bathed in a warm golden glow from the sunset. Portas do Sol was not just a simple viewpoint; it was a place where one could simultaneously feel Lisbon's charm and history.
