| Exploring the Fairyland, Encountering the Most Beautiful Landscape Paintings on Earth. 🏔️ Lao Wang Mountain, also known as Lang Mountain, is nestled in the embrace of Zangke Town, Liuzhi (formerly Maokou Township), like a dazzling pearl left behind by nature. As the ancient saying goes, 'Mountains, rivers, and vegetation all have names, and then cities and towns of the nation are born.' The name Yelang is said to originate from the majestic and rugged Yeshan in Puan County and Langshan in Liuzhi, becoming a totem and a symbol of the nation and even the country. 📜 The 'Anshun Prefecture Chronicles' records that the source of Yelang flows between these two mountains. 🔝 At the peak of Lao Wang Mountain, with an altitude towering over other peaks at about 2126.9 meters, it is the highest point in Liuzhi Special Zone. The summit is shrouded in mist, appearing dreamlike and ethereal, revealing its true form only on sunny days, sparking endless imagination. 👀 Looking up at the main peak, the cliffs rise hundreds of meters high, as if cut by a knife. Embedded in the cliff is a mysterious stone cave known as the 'Moon Cave' 🌕, resembling the crescent moon blade of Guan Yu, deep and solemn. The cave is 30 meters deep, 22 meters wide, and 10 meters high, housing a stone tomb said to be the resting place of the old king of Yelang. In 1989, the light of archaeology first shone into this cave, discovering three stone tombs, one of which was a joint burial. Bone identification revealed that it dates back a thousand years, telling tales of past glory and vicissitudes. 🌄 On the southern edge of the main peak, the cliffs form an arc, overlooking the Ladder Gorge and Maokou Township. Twelve peaks interlock like the teeth of a comb, resembling a royal crown when viewed from below, exuding nobility. 🌳 To the southwest lies the gentle land of Zhongzhai Township, with Shiban Village and Shenjia Village nestled against the mountains. The terrain gradually softens, with remnants of primeval forests scattered around, ancient trees towering, vines entwining, moss covering stones, deep and mysterious, breathing as the lungs of nature. 🌌 On the eastern cliff, the Moon Cave reappears, with a clear spring beside it, like a gift from heaven. The spring is no more than a zhang wide, with water as clear as a mirror, reflecting the beauty of heaven and earth. 📍 With its unique geographical location, Lao Wang Mountain stands proudly in southwestern Guizhou, surrounded by the Zangke River like a belt. The mountains embrace it, making its ruggedness even more prominent. Standing at the peak, with a gentle breeze brushing your face, the Zangke River meanders like a ribbon, and the peaks appear and disappear in the mist, as if in a fairyland, cleansing the soul and bringing tranquility and serenity.
