These iconic landmarks truly capture the essence of London. London Eye: The London Eye offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The 30-minute ride in the glass capsules allowed me to spot famous landmarks like the Shard, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and even Windsor Castle on a clear day! The ride was smooth, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend going just before sunset for a magical view as the city lights come alive. The only downside was the long queue, so booking tickets in advance is a must. Big Ben: Big Ben is as majestic in person as it appears in photos. The intricate Gothic architecture of the clock tower (now known as the Elizabeth Tower) is awe-inspiring. Hearing the chimes in real life was a special moment that added to the charm. While you can’t go inside unless you’re a UK resident, it’s still a perfect spot for stunning photos, especially at night when the tower is illuminated. Overall: Both landmarks are must-visit attractions when in London. They are conveniently located near each other, making it easy to explore both in one trip. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, these sights never fail to impress!
