The dream train journey | Travel around Europe with the Global Eurail Pass

❓Do you know what the Global Eurail Pass is? In a nutshell, it's a pass for unlimited travel on European national railways. With some exceptions, such as express trains and night trains, it allows unlimited travel on most national railways. Europe is connected by land and has a well-developed railway network, so it's easy to cross borders! Many airports are located in remote areas, so using trains that run through cities will make your trip especially comfortable. In the past, I would write my destination down on paper, but with the introduction of apps, it's much easier now! You can get off the train as many times as you like, so you can make small detours during this section and arrange it however you like. For example, London → Area where you can see the Cotswolds London → Oxford, famous for Harry Potter Even going to Edinburgh was a little like a day trip, and it was nice to be able to go back and forth! ⚠️Note⚠️ Seat reservation is required in Spain, so there is an additional charge for seat reservation. The French TGV is not included. 🤩Tips🤩 If you have a Eurail Pass, eligible cruises can also be cheaper. It's not listed above, but from Helsinki to Stockholm, we took a cruise ship called Tallink Silja Line. It takes about 17 hours, so we stayed overnight on the ship. Also, from Oslo to Bergen, we traveled while sightseeing in the fjords. There are discounts for buses and cruises that are not national railways if you book in advance, so we were able to save about 30% of the usual price.
