Coal Drops Yard

Coal Drop Yard is one of the "new kids" (opened in 2018) in London. It is the central shopping hub at King's Cross and was formerly a coal drop. A coal drop is an elevated railway track to allow material to fall freely between the rails onto the ground beneath. It was previously used for coal transport. Now it is a lively place of gathering for Londoners, hosting more than 100 shops and several markets.
