Longnan·Old House Xia Hotel One day, on a whim, I thought of taking a break, so I decided on a spontaneous trip to a less-known tourist destination within a 1.5-2h high-speed train ride from Shenzhen, and the first stop was the Longnan Old House Xia five-star hotel (great value for money). Right at the hotel's front entrance is a small river courtyard, full of lotus flowers and a small bamboo grove, with a Jiangnan style that I really like, and it's also very photogenic. Each guest room is a separate building, with four units in each two-story building. The rooms on the lower floor have their own bathtubs, and the rooms are equipped with individual tea-making utensils and coffee machines, so you can bring your own favorite tea leaves to brew. There's also a private small courtyard, where you can enjoy tea and chat while taking in the view. When it rains, you can listen to the rain in the courtyard and feel the rhythm of nature. The price was not expensive when I went, as it was not the peak season, which was really cost-effective. Since it was a last-minute trip, I went alone, but the hotel staff still gave me a double breakfast voucher. I enjoyed breakfast in the morning, with both Chinese and Western options, which quite suited the general taste. The overall experience was great, with excellent service and sincerity, and it's only about a dozen yuan away from the high-speed train station. I recommend it to sisters planning to travel to Longnan for a stay and experience.
