This free and niche ancient town in Hunan is seriously underrated Liyetown is one of the four famous towns in Western Hunan, alongside Furong Town, Pushi Town, and Chadong Town, but most people don't know about it. Advantages: 1. Over 36,000 bamboo slips from the Qin Dynasty have been unearthed in Liye, which scholars believe to be another major archaeological discovery of the Qin Dynasty following the Terracotta Army. The research results are expected to significantly fill in the gaps in historical records, and in 2023 it was even featured on the CCTV program 'Exploring Chinese Civilization through Bamboo Slips'. 2. The ancient town's architecture is even more beautiful.
