Luang Prabang's Lesser-known Temples | 500 Years of History | Great for Photography

When I had not yet visited Laos, I knew nothing about this place. Arriving in Luang Prabang, Laos, this is a paradise of slow pace. But the oldest historical site in Luang Prabang is still the Wat Visounnarath temple. 🕙[About History] The temple was founded by King Visounnarath in 1513. In 1887, the temple was burned down by Black Flag invaders and was rebuilt in 1898. The famous Buddha statue of Pha Bang is located here.
