Lucerne City - Dying Lion Statue + Glacier Park

#5月好去处2025 The Dying Lion Statue and Glacier Park are within walking distance from the city of Lucerne. The two attractions are connected and it is recommended to visit them together. The Dying Lion Statue is a statue commemorating more than 1,100 Swiss mercenaries who fought in the battle to defend the Tuileries Palace in Paris. It is very finely carved and no tickets are required to visit here. The Glacier Park next to it is an open-air museum with 20,000-year-old glacial relics. Tickets are required, but if you have a Swiss Pass, you don’t need them. After visiting the attractions, you can go to the mall next to it. There are quite a few shops inside, so you can go shopping by the way. There is also a COOP supermarket where you can fill your stomach and buy souvenirs!
