Peaceful Escape to Mount Rigi

#summervacay Mount Rigi, somehow a lesser-known gem near Lucerne, was like a deep breath that I realized I never knew I needed. I rode a cogwheel train to the top (which was enough on its own!), but as I arrived on top I found myself resting on soft clouds floating under me, and mountain peaks towering above. The view was like, no joke, wow. I walked quietly along trails, threw on some layers to sit down with a warm drink, and frankly just enjoyed doing nothing at all. It wasn't about crossing items off a list, instead it was about feeling calm, feeling present, and feeling far away from all the noise of everything else.
