Swiss budget trip: eat Cordon Bleu pork chop at a lakeside restaurant ☺️

The weather was average when we arrived in Lungern, with a drizzle, and we hadn’t had breakfast yet, so we wanted to find a restaurant to fill our stomachs as soon as we arrived. However, every restaurant was closed as the owner was traveling. There was only one hotel restaurant that provided croissants and coffee. We asked the locals again and went to a restaurant near the camper van, which was finally open. It’s hard to imagine how excited we were at that time, and we ate there no matter how expensive it was! Location: Right next to the camper and the lake, 20 minutes from the station! Environment: There are outdoor terraces and indoor seats, but the weather was average and cold, so we didn't sit outside, which is a pity, because the restaurant's biggest selling point is the view of the green mountains and blue lake, and the interior decoration is very retro. There is a private room in the palace style; there are large glass windows 🪟 overlooking the lake and mountains, and there is a bar and salad bar. The overall atmosphere is full of a leisurely holiday. Service: Friendly but their English is average. After eating, they will ask "Is the food ok?". No tipping or service charge is required because the food price already includes it. Lunch: Beef entrecote with Bernaise CHF 34 The presentation is good, the steak is cooked to the right degree, pink in color, but a little bit ribbed, not very tender. 👍🏻The best part is the light yellow sauce, which is based on Hollandaise sauce with shallots, tarragon and anise. It has a smooth and rich taste, and is great with steak and French fries. In addition, it is delicious with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables 😋! Cordon Rouge CHF36 This is a famous Swiss dish - Cordon Bleu Pork Chop🤩. The palm-shaped pork chop is mixed with Raclette cheese, red pepper🌶️, tomatoes and basil🌿, and then fried. It is fragrant🥰. The meat is more tender than beef☺️ and tastes better😋. The side dishes are mixed vegetables and French fries🍟. The portion is large, 👍🏻 This dish is delicious and filling! In conclusion, this meal is the most memorable one during the trip. It is worth eating there a second time next time I visit Switzerland. It only costs HK$300 per person on average, which is better than Hong Kong!
