The Macau Flower Festival is an annual grand event aimed at celebrating the return of the Macau Special Administrative Region to the motherland and enriching the leisure activities of its citizens. The 2023 Winter Flower Festival, themed 'Primitive Planet,' features various spherical flowers such as hydrangeas, ping pong chrysanthemums, and dahlias at the main venue in Taipa Houses-Museum, creating a fantastical planetary world. During the exhibition, several flower-related activities, such as photo exhibitions and photography contests, are held, attracting a large number of citizens and tourists. The next Macau Flower Festival will be held from mid to late December 2024, with specific dates and themes to be announced later by the Municipal Affairs Bureau.
