The MGM Cotai Museum in Macau: four zodiac animal heads on display.

The MGM Cotai Museum in Macau is truly impressive. With exquisite design, 3D scanning of exhibits, and synchronized records from the Age of Exploration, it offers a unique experience. The highlight is undoubtedly the exhibition of the zodiac animal heads from the Old Summer Palace. Currently, four of these heads are on display at MGM, making it difficult to get a close-up photo due to the crowd. The bronze heads are incredibly lifelike, with even the hair appearing three-dimensional. As historical witnesses of the Qing Dynasty's plunder and destruction by foreign powers, eight of these heads have now returned, and we look forward to the day when all twelve zodiac heads are reunited. However, it's worth noting that the value of many artifacts has been exaggerated. Some artifacts with fabricated stories have appeared at auctions with inflated prices, possibly for money laundering purposes. Even when regarded as Western sculptures, these animal heads are mediocre.
