Taipa Portuguese Style: a tourist attraction that organically combines museums with natural ecology

The Guest House is the “Casa Maquista” cultural restaurant, which is privately run and promotes the “Macanese cuisine cooking skills”, an intangible cultural heritage of Macau. There is a beautiful wetland in front of the museum, which attracts many egrets, forest birds, dragonflies, butterflies and other animals to inhabit. It is one of Macao’s important ecological zones. There are ecological trails and bird-watching houses in the area, allowing visitors to watch birds and experience the greenery without disturbing the habitats of the creatures. In addition to the ecological trail, there is also an ecological pond. The biological information sign next to it introduces basic information such as birds, insects and aquatic plants, making it easier for the public to learn more about the biodiversity of the wetland.
