Lou Lim Ieoc Garden

Lou Lim Ieoc Garden is a uniquely charming park in Macau, filled with traditional Chinese aesthetics. Located in the northeastern part of the Macau Peninsula, this park was originally the private garden of 19th-century merchant Lou Kau. It was later opened to the public, allowing both residents and tourists to enjoy its serene beauty. Upon entering the park, visitors are greeted by intricate rock formations and a lotus pond, surrounded by lush greenery that evokes the feeling of stepping into a classical painting. Wandering along the winding paths, one can admire the beautifully crafted pavilions and delicately designed wooden doors and windows, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of Lingnan-style gardens. The park also features a Portuguese-style building, Chun Chao Hall, which is now used for exhibitions, highlighting Macau's rich history of Sino-Portuguese cultural integration.
