A hidden church on top of Old Taipa

In my seven years here in Macau, today I had a big surprised in my life I just discovered a church in Old Taipa, the Our Lady of Carmel Church. Since it’s my holiday I decided to go out and have some me time and this will be my first solo trip for 2023. I actually choose a different way than the my friends and I normally take, it’s the first time I take that pathway because I’m supposed to go to the Taipa Houses Museum and take a shortcut from there to go to Venetian but upon reaching the top of the stairs (from Old Taipa) I saw a church. I’ve been in Old Taipa and in the Taipa Houses Museum area for couple of times but I never imagine that there’s a church over there. For a traveler who believe that you can pray and have 3 wishes in the church that you visit for the first time, I felt so much joy and I feel so blessed. I offered my prayer and felt so much better since the church is very quite and very solemn.
