The Spanish capital certainly upgrades the game when it comes to Christmas decoration. Strolling around the central streets of Madrid feels like being in a Christmas fairytale, with Christmas lights, Christmas trees and other decoration elements that make the most of the festive spirit in this time of the year Some spots that you should definitely check out: - Sol: this central square in Madrid has a huge Christmas tree that lights up at night making for great photo opportunities - Gran Via: the central Avenue in Madrid with its many boutiques and brand flagship shops is certainly a very nice walk in the evening, alive with Christmas lights - Opera: this square hosts a Christmas market and beautiful Christmas tree Other spots (check my other posts / video) - Cortylandia: the side facade of El Corte Inglés shopping mall has a music and lighting show where huge puppets move and sing to a Christmas song rhythm attracting the attention of kids and adults alike.
