Melbourne | Take the family to this winery hotel

When Dudu was 2 years old, we took her to Melbourne and planned a short self-driving trip, which is very suitable for young babies. The first stop was Balgownie Estate Winery Retreat & Restaurant, which is a two-hour drive from Melbourne. The winery is located in Bendigo, a city with a strong Victorian style. We originally planned to stay at the winery for one night and visit Bendigo the next day, but we had to change our plans because the baby was sick, so we checked out the next day and went straight to Ballarat Zoo. When we first arrived at the winery, we thought the vineyard was flat and not very impressive, but when we opened the tent, we were pleasantly surprised. We chatted at the door with the whole family at sunset, and it was a lot of fun. 🏷️ Hotel tent room types Ordinary tent: The white tent in the picture has air conditioning and is very suitable for taking pictures, but there is no bathroom. The bathroom is outside and shared by two tents. Luxury tent: The tent is large and has a bathroom, a bathtub, and a hanging chair at the door. We stayed in this tent with our baby, and my dad stayed in an ordinary tent, which was just right. 🏷️ Baby fun We saw a few kangaroos in the vineyard, but unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures. If you stay for one night, the kids will find it interesting, but if you stay for two nights, you need to bring toys for the kids, as there are no children's facilities on site, and they will find it boring. 🏷️ Food The hotel is 10 km from the city center, so we ate at the hotel. The food was okay, but not very good. There are also Western-style children's meals, such as steak, fish, and chips, which are not very healthy for Chinese babies, so you can prepare some food for your children. Well, actually, this hotel is where mom wants to stay, and I thank Dudu for her cooperation, even though she is not fully recovered.
