swear Lombok has all the beautiful beaches out there! and Mandalika beach is definitely on that list! Not also that it has a fine natural beauty but it also has one of this interesting story background about Princess Mandalika who was the chase of the town. When she couldn't decide whom to marry she decided to take a jump into the sea and made promised that she would appear every once a year. So that is why 'Nyale' became annual ritual for the local fishermen as it is believed that those little creature coming from the sea are the other form of the princess :) how fascinating isn't it!
