The Songpinggou Direct Bus is the best! A spontaneous summer getaway is all set

As Chengdu's weather gets hotter and hotter, I just wanted to find a cool place to escape for the weekend. I heard Songpinggou now has a direct bus service, with its maiden trip on May 24th. I immediately grabbed my friends and went for it! At 7 AM, we boarded the spacious and comfortable shuttle at Chunxi Road's Mirui Plaza. It was so cozy that I slept the whole way 👍. Just 3.5 hours straight to the scenic area— perfect for a lazy person like me! The experience was absolutely top-notch! Arriving at the scenic area ⛰️, the breathtaking views unfolded like a natural landscape painting. Summer in Songpinggou is incredibly pleasant, with an average temperature of just 19°C— no urban heat, just the tranquility and beauty of nature. It’s also super photogenic 📷. In the distance, rolling green mountains stretch endlessly, while nearby, crystal-clear lakes shimmer like giant gemstones embedded in the earth. We took the sightseeing bus to Changhai (Long Lake). The moment we stepped off, fresh air greeted us, leaving us refreshed and invigorated. The lake water was exceptionally clear, like a massive mirror reflecting the surrounding peaks and blue sky. Standing by the lakeside, a gentle breeze brushed our cheeks— pure bliss! Hiking along the newly upgraded Cuizhugou-Mohai boardwalk, we were shaded by lush trees 🍃. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled patterns on the ground. The streams along the way were so clear, and the sound of flowing water made the walk incredibly refreshing. Soon, we reached Mohai (Ink Lake). The water was a deep, mesmerizing blue, and the large flat rocks by the shore were perfect for photos— every shot turned out stunning!! Baishi Hai (White Stone Lake) is also a must-see. It’s the largest lake in Songpinggou, with water as blue and translucent as gemstones. The surrounding green mountains and trees mirrored on its surface created a scene so beautiful it was intoxicating ⛰️. Strolling along the lakeside boardwalk, admiring the harmony of lake and mountain, all my worries seemed to vanish into thin air~ On the return trip, sitting in the direct bus, I watched Songpinggou fade into the distance through the window— and already started planning my next visit.
