If you ever travel to Slovenia, Maribor is a place to visit. A small, old town, surrounded by vineyards. The houses are low, no skyscrapers, just nature all around. Buy veggies at small markets, straight from the farmers or sit outside in the center of the city, enjoying good food or a nice drink. And of course go to the vineyards and try some wine.
