A Relaxing Three-Day Self-Drive Tour in Southern France

Driving in France is similar to many other countries with left-hand drive. The roads in Southern France are easy to navigate, with clear traffic signs and relatively few cars. We avoided highways throughout the trip, so we didn’t have to pay any tolls. Additionally, parking on Sundays is free! Driving Route: We rented a car at Nice Airport and drove along the stunning coastline to Toulon as a midway stop. Then, we headed to Provence to experience staying at a countryside estate. On the last day, we visited the pink salt flats, passed through Nîmes to see the arena, and finally returned the car at the Avignon TGV station.
