[Tochigi Prefecture] A shrine full of turtles

Kameoka Hachiman Shrine ⛩️ 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 This shrine is located in the woods adjacent to the Oyake Tomb Group. After passing through the impressive torii gate, a long approach continues. After climbing a few steps and seeing the main shrine building, there are rows of turtles dedicated here and there! They are lined up like a turtle approach to the shrine. There are turtles on the guardian lions and turtles on the temizuya (purification fountain). The shrine is surrounded by trees and is a place rich in nature.
