[Shimane] A trip around Matsue's power spots

#DomesticTravelRecord Shimane Prefecture is said to be where gods from all over Japan gather in October. Izumo Taisha is famous, but there are many other historic shrines, and Matsue City in particular is dotted with wonderful historic shrines and famous places. On this trip to Matsue, I visited a shrine that is famous as a power spot, so I'd like to introduce it to you♪ First thing in the morning, I visited Kamosu Shrine. The shrine stands quietly in a forest with a divine aura, and when you pass through the torii gate, you can feel the dignified aura in the silence. I was impressed by this chozuya, which is covered in moss! The vibrant moss was truly wonderful. After gratefully washing my hands, I climbed the stone steps next to it. In front of me appeared the magnificent main hall, which is also designated as a national treasure. It is said to be the oldest of the existing Taisha-style shrine buildings. 📍Location: 563 Oba-cho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture Next, we went to Yaegaki Shrine. It enshrines a married couple of deities and is apparently famous for matchmaking. The "Mirror Pond Fortune Telling" is particularly popular, where you float the blank paper you received at the shrine in the beautiful mirror pond, gently place a 10-yen or 100-yen coin on top, and pray. Then, words will appear from the paper! If the paper sinks within 15 minutes, you will quickly find a good match, but if it doesn't sink after 30 minutes, you are still a long way from finding one. 📍Location: 227 Sakusa-cho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture After recharging our energy at the shrine, we had a delicious lunch♪ We had soba noodles at "Teuchi Soba Kochi," a popular restaurant recommended to us by a local. Juwari soba made with fragrant coarsely ground buckwheat flour. The soba has an interesting texture and a distinctive flavor that only handmade noodles can have. We also had some delicious sake ♡ 📍Address: 237-3 Saikacho, Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture
