Travel back in time to a Meiji era elementary school! The cute and retro Iwaka School 🏫

When I was traveling to Shizuoka, I found out that I could visit a closed elementary school, so I went to Iwaka School 🏫 It is registered as a nationally designated important cultural property, and is said to be the oldest elementary school in the Izu region 👀 You can see a classroom from an elementary school in the Meiji era, sit at a desk, and mingle with the students ✏️ Even though it's not my alma mater, I can visit with a nostalgic feeling 🥹 In addition, there is a corner that recreates the life of old farmers, and old farm tools are displayed, so it's hard to believe that it's only 300 yen! The elementary school itself is a mix of Japanese and Western styles, and it's retro and cute!!!
