Thapae Gate, Chiang Mai

Thapae Gate or Thapae is an important landmark of Chiang Mai. It is a gate located on the east side and is one of the 5 inner city gates of Wiang Chiang Mai. At present, this is the only city gate that has a door. The highlight of this gate, in addition to taking beautiful pictures with it, is that every Sunday there is Thapae Walking Street, the largest walking street in Chiang Mai for us to shop.
