3 days 2 nights Lake Como travel plan 🏞

Anyone who is planning to travel to Europe must stop by here. Heaven on earth, even when the weather is not good, it still makes your heart flutter nonstop. Importantly, you also get to see the actual filming location of the Star Wars movie. Day 1: Milan Main Station to Lake Como - Hotel at Dervio - The first step is to buy a train ticket to Varenna or if you are staying in Bellano-Dervio, you can wait for the train at Varenna station. Our ticket costs 7.40 euros per person, valid after scanning the ticket or validating within 6 hours. - Take the train for almost 1 hour. You can sit and watch the view or relax. If you want to see the view, I recommend sitting on the left side where you can see the view of Lake Como. - If you want to save money, you can find airbnb rooms in Bellano and Dervio. We stayed in Dervio called The Laghee Attic for 2 nights for only 197 euros. It is very cheap. There is a kitchen, washing machine, and a supermarket nearby. You can buy food to cook and save money for many more meals. I will post the location in the comments. - Dervio is a very peaceful city. There were almost no tourists, but we could still see the view of Lake Como or take a boat to Maggio on the opposite bank. Day 2: Bellano-Lenno-Bellagio-Varenna - We actually intended to take the train to Varenna, but the train broke down at Bellano, so we had the chance to walk around the city and then take a boat instead. See the travel costs in the picture for more details. - Bellano is starting to have more tourists, but not too many. There are hotels and restaurants near the pier. Those who like to relax and don't like crowds should stay here. - Our first destination was Lenno to Villa del Balbianello, the filming location of Star Wars that we intended to go to. We took a long boat ride for almost 2 hours and got to see the view around Lake Como. It might be a bit dark, but the mountain view was beautiful. - When we arrived at Lenno, we could walk for about 30 minutes or buy a ticket to take a boat to Villa del Balbianello. We chose to walk. We walked around and got to see the view around. - The entrance fee here is 13 euros, but the ticket seller only gave us a student ticket price of 10 euros. We were lucky. For those who didn't buy tickets online in time, don't panic because we already panicked. Afraid that the tickets will be sold out and they won't let you in, but most tourists also buy entrance tickets. But if you book online, it's safer and you don't have to wait in line (you have to plan your day well because the park is closed every Monday and Wednesday). - After that, we took a boat back to Bellagio. I have to say that it's beautiful even before getting on the boat. It's a pity that we didn't have much time because we were hiking in Lenno, so we only had lunch at Antichi Sappori. Most of the menus are spaghetti with a rich taste. - Bellagio will have quite a lot of tourists. I recommend booking a restaurant in advance. Near the pier, there are souvenir shops or even brand-name shops. You can go shopping. If anyone has time left, you can walk around. There are quite a few beautiful places to take pictures. - Varenna is another place that we missed because there are actually many beautiful places. But when we got back on the boat, it was already dark. So we took the train back to our accommodation instead. It was raining quite heavily. Day 3: Back to Milan - I have to warn you that the trains to and from Lake Como are not on time because there is only one lane of tracks. If something happens, you have to wait for the train for an hour. If anyone is more comfortable driving, there might not be much parking, but don't worry about the trains, especially for those who have to catch a train or a plane. Need to leave extra time - We chose to return at noon because there will still be seats on the train. If you come for a One Day trip, the evening train will be very crowded. You have to be prepared that you will definitely not get a seat until Milan. - You can buy train tickets at the train station or online, but I recommend buying online because it is more convenient because you may need to activate the ticket. This is a bit confusing. Sometimes there will be an officer checking, and some say you have to do it at the train station. If you ask if a One Day Trip to Lake Como is enough❓ - If you are not serious about going to everything, you can just stop by Varenna - Bellagio. - But I would recommend staying for a night or two so that you can experience the evening atmosphere in a different way and not have to fight with tourists in the evening who have to take the train back. - I recommend coming a little before summer. The weather is cool and comfortable, but there might be rain. It depends on your luck. Even from May to June, there is often rain and cloudy skies, but August will start to get very hot.
