Enjoy a relaxing Onsen experience at Kurokawa Onsen

For those traveling to the Kyushu, Fukuoka area and want to experience an onsen but are not comfortable with public baths, I highly recommend Kurokawa Onsen. This charming onsen town offers several ryokans with private onsens. I chose Fumoto Ryokan, which costs around 11,000 baht for two people, including dinner and breakfast. Kurokawa Onsen is a lovely small onsen village with a great atmosphere. You can sleep to the sound of flowing water and enjoy delicious meals both in the morning and evening. The ryokan I stayed at has about 9 private onsen baths and 2 public baths separated by gender. If you're not staying overnight, you can buy a ticket for around 1,200 yen, which allows you to choose 3 public baths from all the ryokans in the town. However, private onsens are reserved for guests only. For transportation, I rented a car, but there seems to be a bus service from Fukuoka as well.
