Miranda de Ebro, a historic site of cultural interest

Miranda de Ebro lies in the N-E of the province of Burgos, divided by the river from which it takes its name. The Ebro traces the line between the districts of Allende and Aquende, both of which were once walled. The churches of San Nicolas and San Juan, Casa Fuerte and the Jurisdiction Column, as well as the Carlos III Bridge and several fine examples of traditional architecture are all worthy of their status as Assets of Cultural interest.
