Kawazu cherry blossoms at Miura Coast

Miura Island is one of the popular places to view Kawazu cherry blossoms in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Since it is close to Tokyo, many travelers to Tokyo will arrange a short trip to Miura Island to view the cherry blossoms during the Kawazu cherry blossom season; 🚞🌸 This time we departed from Yokohama to Miurakaigan, where transportation was very convenient. One bus went straight there without having to transfer, and the journey took about 50 minutes. The weather on that day was super good, with blue sky, white clouds and bright sunshine. Next to Miurakaigan Station, there were two Kawazu cherry trees that had been open for about 6 minutes to welcome the tourists. The local Japanese sat down leisurely under the cherry trees to rest and chat. Further ahead, there were two more luxuriant Kawazu cherry trees, and everyone gathered under the trees to take pictures. For those who like to take a slow walk to enjoy the cherry blossoms, we recommend that you exit Miurakaigan Station and walk towards Misakiguchi Station. Along the way, you can see a long stretch of Kawazu cherry blossoms and rape blossoms. When you see a train passing by, you can also take a photo of the train and the cherry blossoms and rape blossoms in the same frame. It is a great way to enjoy the cherry blossoms here! 🚞🌼🌸📷💯 The flowering period of Kawazu cherry blossoms usually falls in late February, but due to several cold waves this year, the flowering period was greatly delayed.
