Amanohashidate in Kyoto, Osaka, is known as one of the three scenic spots in Japan, the other two are Matsushima in Miyagi Prefecture, and Miyajima in Hiroshima Prefecture, introduced flip ~ 🎋Name: Amanohashidate 📍Address: Miyazu, Kyoto-fu 🚌Transportation: Take the Amanohashidate Special Express train from Kyoto Station and you will arrive at Amanohashidate Station in 2.5 hours. After exiting the station, walk for about 20 minutes to reach the sandbar. (Of course you should go to Umbrella Pine Park/Viewland by crane first, then walk back to the sand dunes) 🛎️ I personally think that if you do not drive but want to take a day trip, it is too rushed ~ I suggest going to the nearby area to stay one night first, such as Miyazu, then take the local bus to Amahashidate, so time is much more 🛎️ Amanohashidate🗾 means "bridge of heaven" because when looking down from the mountains at both ends of the sandbar, it looks like a ladder connecting heaven and earth.
