A waterfall in summer and icicles in winter: Yamabiko Falls, Engaru Town

It's a 15-minute walk from Yamabiko Falls Parking Lot. As you walk through the lush virgin forest, a 28m-high waterfall appears before your eyes. It's a fairly small waterfall, but it's a scenic spot that's characterized by the fact that you can get close enough to practice asceticism and go around to the back side.
