In the 17th century, this chapel was the private chapel and lecture room of Cardinal Sapoliti. In the Napoleonic era, it was abandoned and used as a warehouse. It was purchased in 1959 by Gino De Andreis, the cousin of Eugenio Montale, and his wife Bebe, who donated it to the Diocese of Monterosso after renovation. The most special thing is that there are two ceramic statues on the front, which are the works of Genoese artist Emanuele Luzzati. I was attracted to check in by it.
