Lesser known but worth the stop!

Candi Mendut is one of the oldest Buddhist temple in outskirts of Yogyakarta. Overshadowed by the bigger Candi Borobudur, Mendut is a place that you’ll pass by along the way and I would strongly recommend for a stop here and immense yourself in the serenity of the surrounding area.
