Laid-back Trails & Sky Views, Heeyangsan

#summervacay Spent the afternoon hiking Heeyangsan, and it was the kind of lowkey hike that totally clears your head. Not super touristy, which means you get those peaceful “just me and the mountain” vibes the whole way up. The trail starts off nice and easy, just soft forest paths and birds doing their thing. As you climb, the views start opening up slowly, and by the time you hit the upper ridgeline, sky everywhere. It’s not a crazy-tall mountain, but the scenery really delivers, especially with all the rolling hills and little villages way below. There’s a cozy little summit area, perfect for a snack break. I plopped down, busted out some triangle kimbap, and just took in the breeze. So quiet, so calm. A total nature reset. If you’re looking for a chill hike with solid views and no crowds, Heeyangsan’s the move. Great trail, great vibes, and that fresh mountain air just hits different out here.
