The Northern Lights in Russia

Murmansk, Russia Murmansk is one of the cities in Russia where you can see the Northern Lights. Although it is not as popular as Norway, where the Northern Lights are easier to see, this city has its own charm. There is a lot of history to explore here. I finally understood why it's called 'hunting the Northern Lights' during my trip. I spent two nights driving around to different spots where the Northern Lights could be seen. Each night, I had to drive to several places, sometimes seeing faint lights and other times stronger ones, depending on the timing. I traveled in April, which is the end of the Northern Lights season in this city. To get to this city, you can take a flight from Moscow, which takes about an hour.
