[Nagano] The autumn leaves shine against the old castle! Introducing Matsushiro Castle Ruins

Matsushiro Castle was originally called Kaizu Castle, and was built by Yamamoto Kansuke to control northern Shinano by Takeda Shingen. It was the base of the Takeda forces during the Battle of Kawanakajima. After the Sanada clan became the feudal lord in the Edo period, the name was changed to Matsushiro Castle, and now the Sanada Treasure Museum, which displays armor used by the Sanada clan, is adjacent to it. It is also known as a spot to see autumn leaves, and the beautiful autumn leaves stand out against the austere castle. 📌Visited on November 4th #AutumnTrip #Nagano #AutumnFoliageSpot #AutumnFoliage #CastleTour #CastleRuins
