It is an impressive place with glass walls on all sides that let in sunlight from all sides and provide a view of the scenery. In particular, water flows between the buildings and there is a passage connecting them. The permanent exhibition on the first floor was about Japanese language and traditional Japanese paintings. On the first floor, there is a permanent exhibition hall, a souvenir shop, and a rest area. On the second floor, there is a cafe where you can enjoy coffee and dessert while looking out over Nagasaki Dejima.
