It is a hotel under the Meitetsu Group. It opened in November 2016, and it was still like new when I stayed there in April 2024. The area around the hotel is a relatively quiet office building area. There is a Lawson convenience store and chain restaurant on the first floor, and we also had breakfast in this restaurant the next day. Fortunately, just across the street you can reach Nagoya Station, where there are endless restaurants and shops to eat and shop. Transportation tips: Get off at JR Nagoya (whether you take the Shinkansen or the conventional line) and head towards Shin-Taiko-dori Exit. You will arrive after passing two intersections. Take the Meitetsu (to the airport) or Kintetsu (to Osaka, Mie) and get off at Nagoya Station. Go through the Nagoya Station passage towards Taigo-dori Exit and cross two intersections to arrive. The business hotels under the Meitetsu Group are always simple and bright, without any extra decorations. Check-in and check-out procedures are simple. There are plenty of supplies for use next to the lobby, and there is also a free self-service coffee and beverage bar. Today, I didn't have to wait too long for the three elevators on the 17th floor. The corridors on the floor were spacious. I stayed in a classic room of about 16 square meters, which is about the same size as other business hotels. However, it has a floor-to-ceiling window that is almost as big as the bed, which visually extends the room space and makes it seem wider. The guest rooms are standardly equipped with a humidifier and a wall-mounted iron. Not only are there many sockets, but there are also multiple chargers. What’s thoughtful is that in addition to the pillow, an extra cylindrical cushion is provided, making it very comfortable whether you sleep with your legs crossed or hugged. The bathroom takes up about one-third of the room. It has a bathtub and a separate shower space with dry and wet areas. The non-slip floor allows you to sit and take a shower. The space is well planned. The floor is high enough, and the views during the day and at night are fascinating. You can just lie there and waste the whole day doing nothing. The check-out time the next day is 10 o'clock (all Meitetsu hotels have a check-out time of 10 o'clock). Guests can dine at the restaurant on the first floor. They can choose three or four set meals (Japanese and Western) offered by the restaurant today. The portion size is sufficient for any one of them. How can you miss such a great value hotel? The price for a single room on weekdays is less than NT$2,000.
