Yomitan Village in Okinawa

I found this statue while walking along the coast of Yomitan Village, Okinawa. He is said to be a great man of Okinawa who contributed to the prosperity of trade in the Ryukyu Islands and to the economic development of the country. I couldn't help but imitate his pose as if he was pointing at the lighthouse at the end of the cape! The view from this cape was magnificent, and I was able to enjoy the crystal clear waters of Okinawa! Why not take a leisurely stroll around Yomitan Village, Okinawa?
