☕ Riverside Comfort at Komeda’s Coffee, Nakatsu

We had a really pleasant visit to Komeda’s Coffee at Nakatsu, located right next to the Yamakuni River. Even before stepping inside, we were greeted with a beautiful riverside view from the parking area — a serene backdrop that set the tone for a relaxed meal. Inside, the cozy and warm interior immediately made us feel at home. Although we don’t speak Japanese, the staff were incredibly kind and patient, helping us navigate the menu and get our orders right despite the language barrier. Their genuine hospitality made a big difference to our experience. The food? Delicious and satisfying — classic Komeda-style comfort food at great value. From breakfast sets to their signature sandwiches and coffee, everything was well-prepared and enjoyable. We noticed a steady stream of local diners during our visit, which confirmed we’d chosen a popular and trusted spot.
