This renovated old building retains its traditional wooden structure, and beside it stands a gently turning waterwheel, adding a poetic touch of motion to the ancient path. Inside the Waterwheel House, simple seating and tea are provided, allowing travelers to sit back and enjoy views of the stream and mountains outside the window. The ambiance evokes the human warmth and rhythm of the old post town. Especially in autumn, when the red leaves reflect on the turning waterwheel, it's an ideal spot for photography or simply daydreaming 🍁. Volunteers often maintain the area in front of the house, and occasionally, you might meet enthusiastic elders who share stories of Magome's past.
