🥢 Gekka-shou Namba Store 📍 Osaka Namba (1-minute walk from Namba Station) This time, I tried: ・Freshly baked Gekka-shou (160 yen) The freshly baked version is exclusive to the Namba store✨️ You can enjoy the special experience of eating Gekka-shou straight out of the oven right in the store💕 The crust is crispy and fragrant, while the filling is smooth and creamy☁️ The warmth enhances the gentle sweetness of the milk, spreading a comforting flavor☺️ Another delightful point is the complimentary tea service when you dine in💡 For souvenirs, I took home: ・6-piece Gekka-shou (990 yen) ・Iemon Gekka-shou (1,100 yen) ・5-piece freshly baked Gekka-shou (800 yen) The freshly baked Gekka-shou can be reheated slightly in a microwave or toaster oven to bring back its fluffy, just-baked texture🔥 The 5 pieces disappeared in no time because they were so delicious! With a shelf life of 3 days, they make a perfect small gift✨️ The classic Gekka-shou is a Japanese-Western fusion confectionery made with white bean paste, condensed milk, and plenty of Hokkaido butter. Its moist texture and milky sweetness make it a favorite across all generations💗 Comparing the classic and freshly baked versions is also a fun experience✨ The Iemon Gekka-shou, which I tried for the first time, is a collaboration with Fukujuen! The rich aroma of Uji matcha pairs elegantly with the milk filling, creating a refined and mature flavor. Highly recommended for matcha lovers🥰 The store also offers soft-serve ice cream and individually wrapped Gekka-shou, among other tempting products🙌 You can purchase Gekka-shou starting from just one piece, making it a perfect treat for yourself!
